Achieve with TELA Primary and Secondary Teacher Training in Leicestershire. Our ethos is to train, employ and grow our own teachers and future leaders in Leicestershire and the surrounding areas.

We provide Schools Direct initial teacher training in primary and secondary education and work in partnership with three universities; University of Leicester; Loughborough University and Warwick University. All courses will lead to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Masters Credits.

Our school based provision includes two high quality teaching placements with experienced and supportive mentors in two schools with varied age ranges, within a local hub model.

Achieve in partnership with Thomas Estley Learning Alliance (TELA) are a career-long training provider. During your Teacher Training, we will fast track you for interview at schools within our alliance. While we can’t guarantee you a job, we certainly give you the tools and training to put you head and shoulders above your competitors.

Once you have completed your training year we will continue with you on your teaching journey providing an NQT conference and bespoke NQT training. As a recently qualified teacher (RQT), you will present your action research at our Leicestershire research conference. We even provide National Professional Qualifications in Middle Leadership, Senior Leadership and Headship. Achieve and TELA are with you every step of the way through your teaching career.

Working in partnership with the University of Leicester, Warwick University and Loughborough University (for PE) to offer Primary and Secondary PGCE accreditation including Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Master level credits

Subjects available for secondary ITT: Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Modern Foreign Languages, English, History, Geography, Drama, D&T, Art & Physical Education
