Why Train With Us

Achieve with TELA, School Direct Initial Teacher Training programme is an Established programme with a successful track record of recruiting the best and providing a high quality experience.

Growing talent, pursuing excellence, together

Achieve with TELA  Primary and Secondary Partnership is founded on the principle of collaboration and an absolute belief that by working together we can improve life chances for all the young people in all of our schools. We are a diverse group of schools that offer a wealth of experience and opportunities in supporting trainees to become outstanding practitioners and leaders of the future. The partnership schools have a long record of collaboration with our Higher Education partners in helping to train teachers. The Achieve School Direct Partnership is part of the Thomas Estley Learning Alliance; the lead school is Thomas Estley Community College an outstanding secondary academy with national teaching school status. As a group of schools, we aim for excellence in all that we do and encourage others to do the same. We foster a culture of learning through high quality teaching, creativity and a shared desire to provide the best possible education opportunities for all our pupils: we believe that all pupils can achieve well.

Achieve Primary and Secondary School Direct partnership route enables its trainees to gain a hands-on approach and to grow its own outstanding teachers. In addition we offer excellent training opportunities using the abundance of expertise within our partnership schools.
