TELA KS2 Ensemble Languages Project

Supported by national funding and renowned MFL experts, the TELA Ensemble Project provides upskilling in French and MFL pedagogy, support for assessment, transition and differentiated MFL teaching, as well as a chance to reflect and share best practice.

All sessions are free as a result of national project funding to support KS2 MFL development, and all sessions advertised here are hosted at Thomas Estley Community College.

TELA Ensemble Trainers:

Lets Enjoy Language’ Twilight sessions for 2015 /16 

Delivered by Thomas Estley Learning Alliance alongside five other alliances in the country is delighted to offer Key Stage 2 teachers Four FREE sessions with the aim of promoting improvement and refreshing the teachers’ French language skills whilst simultaneously providing some fresh ideas for delivering French in KS2. The sessions will cover;

Sharing top tips from your own languages lessons

Practical teaching ideas A closer look at the “Moi” unit, from Ensemble Scheme of work year 3 unit: “sharing good practice and resources”

Gaining confidence in using teacher language in the French classroom

Using drop box to share resources

The opportunity to book a time to observe a language teacher with year 7 classes in Thomas Estley
