TELA’s members include three National Support Schools headed up by National Leaders in Education, as well as a team of Specialist Leaders in Education, Local Leaders in Education, and National Leaders of Governance, who can all be deployed into schools requiring support.

Supporting other schools helps to develop your leadership and mentoring skills, as well as bringing about school improvement. TELA are always happy to hear from colleagues with an interest in becoming a Specialist Leader in Education, or interested in a one-off offer of support.

Peer Reviews

The TELA Peer Review is a full and involved whole-school QA process. Training together and carrying out a Peer Review in at least one other school as well as having a team of peers visiting your school and focusing on the areas in the Ofsted evaluation schedule.
