CAMHS Casework focus sessions

Focus on:

Introduce mental health as essential to health and learning, something to be nurtured and promoted

Explore the roots of strong mental health and resilience

Identify the range of supports that are available 

12 Sessions split between theory & strategies and case studies

Thursday 12 Sept 1.30-3pm – Teenage Depression

Friday 7 Oct 1.30-3pm – Anxiety 1 (self harm)

Thursday  27 Oct 1.30-3pm – Building Resilience 1

Tuesday 15 Nov 1.30-3pm – ODD – dealing with Anger

Thursday 15 Dec 9.30-12 noon – Mindfulness

Friday 6 Jan 1.30-3pm – Psychosis – severe mental health problems

Thursday 2 feb 9.30-12noon – Positive mental health in the classroom

Tuesday  28 Feb 1.30-3pm – Anxiety 2 (attachment)

Friday 31 March – 1.30-3pm – Emotional Literacy

Thursday 27 April 9.30-12 noon – ADHD

Tuesday  23 May 1.30-3pm – Building Resilience 2

Thursday  22 June 9.30- 12 noon – ASD and sensory processing difficulties

Cost ;

£200 per School for all 12 sessions (a different person can attend each session)

£20 per session
